Serena Wadhwa, Psy.D., LCPC, CADC, is the Director of TriQual Living Center. Dr. Wadhwa received her Psy.D. from ISPP-Chicago, specializing in health psychology. Dr. Wadhwa a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and is a Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. She has worked with adolescents and adults in outpatient intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization and residential settings.

Dr. Wadhwa's specialization is assisting individuals to begin the path towards self-management. She also specializes in knowledge and skill development to prevent, manage and resolve difficulties to reach a more balanced life.

Dr. Wadhwa presents and trains audiences on various topics, including stress, chronic pain, addiction, cultural competency and relapse prevention, Agencies include the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, IAODAPCA, Gateway Foundation and many others in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio. Dr. Wadhwa has published various articles on topics relating to addiction, stress, health and pain. Her most recent article is, "Substance Abuse Among Asian Indians in the United States: A consideration of Cultural Factors in Etiology and Treatment, in collaboration with Mudita Rastogi, Ph.D., (2006). She developed the psychoeducational/group curriculum for a dual disorder facility. She develops activities for a variety of psychoeducational lectures to enhance learning and stimulate audience participation and has one currently published on the disease concept, progression and relapse prevention. She is also the Membership Chair for the International Stress Management Association-USA.
